Last year, I hastily drew out my “1st day of” sign after my printer failed to work. It was just sad. This year I definitely planned ahead and came up with what I consider the best of the best. Here is our 5 fun creative back to school picture ideas.

I was so excited for summer and all the things I would do with the kids! I even bought a Kindergarten workbook to do with my oldest. Fast forward to the end of the summer, we have completed one page in his workbook. Our days are filled with doctor appointments, dentist appointments, swim lessons, and constant laundry. School can not start soon enough!

I’m also busy putting together these back to school teacher’s gifts and creating fun snacks for our end of summer parties.

My daughter started first grade back in June. She colored a First Day picture and then posed with it for her photo. She did the same for kindergarten.

These are adorable. It makes me miss the days when I could get cute back to school photos. My kids are older now, youngest is going to be 9 but may as well be pre-teen ish when it comes to getting photos. These are such adorable ideas and would make the perfect back to school picture keepsake!
