Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte (Copycat)
It’s that time of year! Pumpkin EVERYTHING! This is my Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte (copycat) recipe I have created using my Nespresso machine.
Tuesday launched Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte season. Apparently, there was some kind of scandal (I use the term loosely) and some of the stores were serving them as early as last Sunday (GASP)! Everyone deserves a little piece of this heaven in their home.
I am a huge Starbucks fan, mainly because I love their espresso and being able to do mobile ordering. I usually order my drink after dropping off kids, drive 5 minutes to the store, then grab it waiting for me at the counter. So brilliant!
But some days, I don’t want to get out and just want to creep to my kitchen and make my latte. I have been using Nespresso for quite some time, and it makes incredible Americanos or espressos. Therefore, I made it my mission to provide you with Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte copycat recipe! They go so good with Sabrina’s snickerdoodle cookies.
Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte (copycat) Ingredients:
- 2 cup whole milk
- 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 3 – 5 cubes of sugar depending on sweetness level
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 shot Nespresso or other espresso
- 1/4 cup cream for topping (optional)
Directions:
- Mix together milk, pumpkin puree, & sugar in a pot over medium heat. Warm until hot, but do not boil.
- Once hot, remove from heat and stir in the pumpkin spice, cinnamon, vanilla, & espresso.
- Divide between two cups and top with the cream. I like to froth mine in my Nespresso frother. It’s so convenient and fabulous.
Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte
Don't run out to the store for this seasonal favorite. You can make it at home with this EASY recipe. Starbucks' pumpkin spice latte is easy and quick to make!
Ingredients
- 2 cup milk whole
- 3 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 3-5 cubes sugar depending on how sweet you want it!
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 shot espresso or strong coffee
- 1/4 cup cream optional
Instructions
-
Mix together milk, pumpkin puree, & sugar in a pot over medium heat. Warm until hot, but do not boil
-
Once hot, remove from heat and stir in the pumpkin spice, cinnamon, vanilla, & espresso.
-
Divide between two mugs and top with whipped cream.
Trial and Error Tips:
- Use whole milk, but if you must, you can use 1 %… It really just tastes better with whole milk.
- I don’t prefer sugar in my drinks, so add more cubes to achieve your level of sweetness! I also loved the flavor of using dark brown sugar. Definitely a must try.
- I love my Nespresso pods, but you can substitute with Keurig coffee or even your regular drip coffee. I love stronger coffee for this recipe.

I love a good at home copycat recipe. This one sounds so great. I just usually add pumpkin spice!

We tried to make our own pumpkin spice latte last night! We saw a recipe from another site that has like triple the steps as yours (super complicated) and needless to say, we decided we’d rather buy from Starbucks lol. But hey your recipe looks so much simpler! I think we will give it another go tonight, I’m so excited 🙂

I have tried pumpkin spice latte only once and I loved it. I never thought that I can make one at home as well. Great idea!

I only occasionally go to Starbucks and it would be great to be able to make a copy cat drink at home. Thank you for the recipe!
