No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

These easy no bake peanut butter bars are perfect dessert for kids all ages! With a few simple steps, these yummy high protein bars are the perfect treat for after dinner. 

Course Dessert

Ingredients

  • 1 c. unsalted butter melted
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 12 graham crackers crumbs
  • 1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1 c. peanut butter chips optional
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp lite corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Line 8x8 or 9x9 pan with parchment paper so that it hangs over the edge for easy removal.

  2. Melt butter in a medium bowl. 

  3. Stir in graham crackers, powdered sugar, peanut butter chips, peanut butter and stir until well combined. Press mixture into the bottom of the pan.

  4. Heat chocolate chips for 45 seconds in a microwave safe bowl. Stir, then heat for another 30 seconds. Once melted add in the corn syrup & heavy cream. Continue stirring until smooth. 

  5. Pour chocolate over peanut butter base and spread until smooth. After cooling for three hours, cut the bars while the chocolate is still soft. Serve once hardened. 

  6. Enjoy!
