Chocolate Sprinkle Snack Balls combine all the things that my four year old loves and also that I love. Yes, because I am a woman in my thirties, still obsessed with sprinkles and with a crazy love for anything peanut butter. These snack balls are made with just 5 ingredients, all mixed in one bowl. They are crunchy, from all that delicious granola, but obviously, my favorite part are all those chocolate sprinkles. These S’mores Chewy Bars are another snack that I get really excited about!

Chocolate Sprinkle Snack Balls Recipe Recommendations:

  • I have used a mix of Gluten Free oats and also Gluten Free Granola. The granola adds a very nice crunch, but if you don’t have any on hand you can use oats.
  • I made this recipe using creamy peanut butter, you can use any nut butter, almond and sunflower seed butter work well too.
  • Make sure to use a creamy nut butter and to make the mixing easier, microwave the nut butter for a few seconds.
  • I sweetened the snack balls with honey, but you can use maple syrup as a vegan alternative.
  • You can mix in chopped walnuts, peanuts, raisins and cranberries to make these even more fun!
  • Serve the snack balls with this refreshing Lemonade and everyone will be happy,

Chocolate Sprinkle Snack Balls

Chocolate Sprinkle Snack Balls made with just 5 ingredients are the perfect no bake snack that you can serve to your kids or even have a few just for you!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quick oats gluten-free
  • 2 cups granola of choice
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup or honey
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sprinkles

Optional:

  • 1 cup chocolate sprinkles to roll the balls in

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir until well mixed.
  2. To make it easier, I recommend microwaving the peanut butter for about 20 seconds.
  3. Once all the ingredients are well combined, scoop 2 tablespoons of mixture per ball, and roll it in your hands to form a ball.
  4. If you want, you can roll the ball while still sticky into more chocolate sprinkles, so it covered in sprinkles.
  5. Place the snack ball on a tray that has been covered with parchment paper.
  6. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  7. Refrigerate the balls for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  8. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
  9. Enjoy!
